Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) is the largest Polish company engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas and crude oil. PGNiG TERMIKA owns a number of CHP heat exchangers in Warsaw, a provider of cheap heating in Warsaw and Pruszków, a biomass recipient and organizer of numerous information and education campaigns.
Our mission was to provide a modern and functional web site that generates positive experiences for the service users. It is supposed to perform image, information and sales functions. One of the key design requirements was to emphasize the company's broad range of Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
Prior to the work on the graphic design, we conducted a thorough analysis of the previous version of the website pgnig.termika.pl. Based on the results we have optimized user paths and designed a logical content structure. It is distinguished by a functional and coherent arrangement allowing users to quickly find information. Then we started graphic design process.
Taking into account the broad target group of the website, we focused on developing of universal solutions tailored to all users (including, current and potential customers, business partners, media). Selected graphic design style was characterized by a large number of images and interactive functional modules (e.g. product panels, dedicated information modules, extended contact section) making use of the website as comfortable and attractive as possible.
The service has been responsively implemented based on the latest version of open-source content management system - Drupal 8.
The results of the project for PGNiG TERMIKA were successful as we launched a modern looking website which works equally good for the diverse target group. Wide range of Internet users can enjoy convenient tools and features of the website along with its nicely presented content. Based on contrasting colors, the graphic design refreshed the image of the brand and gave the website a modern character.
The well thought-out information architecture has contributed to the increase in the website usability and the ease with which content is found. Any individual customer will find all the necessary product information in the dedicated section of the Customer Section, and any business will have easy access to the areas for corporate clients in the Corporate Section.
The PGNiG CSR activity section highlighted the company's social activities, which directly contribute to the strengthening of the brand's positive image.
